available for study in 2012<br>

The School of Advanced Study, University of London, will offer up to two
studentships for research (i.e. doctoral) study, which cover tuition fees
and a maintenance grant, awarded on a competitive basis to students
registered at one of the Institutes comprising the School of Advanced
Study, to commence in October 2012. In addition to this, the School has
available a number of studentships for both research (MPhil/PhD
/doctoral) and Master's degrees under the Arts and Humanities Research
Council (AHRC) Block Grant Partnerships (BGP) scheme to Home/EU students,
both full- and part-time, commencing in October 2012. <br><br>

The School of Advanced Study was created in 1994 and unites ten
internationally renowned institutes in the humanities and social sciences
at the centre of the University of London. The School’s fundamental
purpose is to maintain and develop its Institutes’ resources for the
benefit of the national and international research communities. <br><br>
