GSGP offers supplementary grants of up to $10,000 USD to students from select countries in Southeastern Europe, the former Soviet Union, Mongolia, the Middle/Near East, and South Asia. The purpose of the program is to enable qualified students to pursue doctoral studies in the Humanities and Social Sciences at accredited universities throughout Asia, Australia, Europe, the Middle/Near East, and North America.<BR><BR><BR>Eligibility<BR><BR><BR>The Global Supplementary Grant Program is available to citizens of the following countries:<BR>* Albania<BR>* Afghanistan<BR>* Armenia<BR>* Azerbaijan<BR>* Belarus<BR>* Bosnia<BR>* Croatia<BR>*
Egypt<BR>* Georgia<BR>* Iraq<BR>* Jordan<BR>* Kazakhstan<BR>* Kosovo<BR>* Kyrgyzstan<BR>* Lebanon<BR>* Macedonia<BR>* Moldova<BR>* Mongolia<BR>* Montenegro<BR>* Nepal<BR>* Palestine<BR>* Russia<BR>* Serbia<BR>* Syria<BR>* Tajikistan<BR>* Turkmenistan<BR>* Ukraine<BR>* Uzbekistan<BR><BR><BR>Students pursuing doctorates in the medical, physical, chemical, technical or natural sciences as well as fine or performing arts are not eligible for this grant. Ineligible fields of study also include:<BR><BR><BR>* Business Administration<BR>* Management Training<BR>* Computer Science<BR>* Finance/Banking<BR>* Marketing<BR>* Engineering<BR>* Hard & Natural Sciences<BR>(Physics, Biology,<BR>Chemistry, etc.)<BR>* Mathematics<BR>* Medical Sciences<BR><BR><BR>GSGP grants are for students pursuing doctorate degrees only. Students admitted to master's programs with the intent to continue, but who are not clearly admitted into a Ph.D. program, are ineligible. Students
must be pursuing their studies at a university outside of their home country.<BR><BR><BR>Please note that this is a supplementary program not intended for full funding.
