and Gender (OSCLG) seeks nominations for its annual Feminist Teacher-Mentor
Award. The committee will select one exemplary feminist teacher-mentor who has
inspired students and colleagues by modeling feminist ideals of caring,
community power-sharing, and commitment while also earning individual and
collaborative records of achievement. Nominations are encouraged among academic
ranks (to include all levels of professor, adjunct faculty, graduate students,
or instructors). The award process involves two stages. At the first stage, the
potential feminist teacher-mentor is nominated by letter by a student(s) or
colleague(s). The second stage involves additional support and a statement from
the nominee; details of this process will be provided by the Committee Chair
