 The event encourages a discussion between language, gender and sexuality scholars and linguistic ethnographers, raising questions of theory and methodology, and, above all, offering an insight into a range of current ethnographic studies of language, gender

 & sexuality in both private and institutional contexts within and outside the UK.</span></p>
