<p class="MsoPlainText"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12px;" class="">The International Gender and Language Association (IGALA) is pleased to be able to offer a limited number of travel bursaries for Scholars from Low-and-Middle-income
countries and Research Higher Degree (MA/PhD) Scholars attending and presenting a paper or poster at the IGALA12 conference in Brisbane Australia, July 4-6 2023.<o:p class=""></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText"><u style="font-size: 12px;" class=""><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;" class="">Selection policy:
</span></u><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;" class="">Bursaries will be determined on the basis of conference abstract, the applicant’s potential benefit from attending, and financial need. Preference will be given
to participants from economically disadvantaged countries, and to participants who demonstrate creativity in meeting much of the cost from other sources. A limited number of bursaries will be available to scholars who cannot attract funding support from their
own institutions or networks.</span></p>
