For a very rough and superficial answer to this question, see the webpage I
started at http://hometown.aol.com/jdm314/myhomepage/demusicis.html . I have
not heard anything about Gothic music from this period, not indeed anything
until the modern phenomenon of Goth Rock ;) But if Gothic Neumes exist, I
definitely want to know about it.
    The closest thing I've heard of is some reconstructed "Gallic" chants
used in Christian France I think abotu 500 AD... you might want to look into
