I'm sorry I didn't put a link to the title url, but the procedure is
simple, really. Just delete the last part to the last slash and You
get http://www.ub.rug.nl/eldoc/dis/arts/j.h.looijenga/

I think this is getting a little silly.

I have no problem accepting that the scientists opinion that the
Weser bones are from around 180 and the Meldorf fibula from the first
half of the first century.

Maybe Looijenga exludes these somehow or means around 200(180) and
excludes the Meldorf fibula. But You must ask HER for that. How would
WE now exactly what HER opinion is.

Regarding runic or not it would be easier if we had some pictures.
Otherwise we don't know what we are talking about and discussion
rather meaningless.

I have some picturers of the weser bones in Sigurd Agrells book
Senantk mysteriereligion och nordisk runmagi.

They are CLEARLY runic and on one it says: ulu:hari The other has two
picures one man with a topped hat and a duble axe held against a bull.
On the other side there is a komplex mark of a sort consitiing of a o
two h-rues and crosslike thing. The runes are
latam}{hari
k/s u n/g n/g i}{ke
Agrell suggests the last part should be read ek Iggus= I Ingus

Then he talks about another Weser inscription that as an analogy to
iggus should be read losom.

Some time this week( or the next) I could go to the library, because
You see how hard it is to describe.
Cheers
Anders
