Yes, but we have also:
In Indo-European:
Hittite attas "father"
Latin atta "father"
Gothic atta "father"
Slavonic otici (with diminutive suffix) "father"

In non-Indo-European languages:
Basque aita "father"
Hungarian atya "father"
Turkish ata "father"
Mongol aat "father"
Japanese oto-san "father", otto "husband", otoko "man, male"
Inuit (Eskimo) ata "father"
etc. etc.

There was already a discution on this list about the possible
relationship of these words, or if they are merely "baby-language"
terms.
