[gothic-l] Who were the Eudusi?

I would like to pose another question  to the list.

Wolfram mentioned (p.22) that in around 480AD the "Eudusi" were a
Gothic  speaking people on the Black Sea coast. Wolfram stated that
these were however, not Goths, but "Eutes" from the Crimbric peninsula
(Eutin in East Holstein is often related to the Eutes), who had come
to the Black Sea together with the Heruls. Does anybody know more
about these Eudusi? Whether this identification with the Eutes is safe
and what role they played at this time?
