Parts of the so called Prussia Collection, which contained many
Wielbark/Willenberg artefacts have resurfaced in
Kaliningrad/Koenigsberg.

The collection was housed in Koenigsberg castle until 1945, but was
thought lost after the war. The collection contained many of the
original Willenberg artefacts which gave the Willenberg (polish
Wielbark) culture, of which the Goths were likely one carrier. The
original collection contained about half a million artefacts, but
only 700 to 800 pieces have been recovered.

cheers,
Dirk
