[gothic-l] Migration

 According to Tureville-Petre and Pall Laurening Scanza was the
Ancestral home of the Germanic tribes. The Teutons came from the
Teuton River region. Is this correct was Central Europe settled by
peoples from Gotland? If so how did the many languages evolve?
