Hi, Oscar

Manie is right: Castile (Spanish Castilla) comes from 
castillo "castle", the meaning being "land of castles". Like the 
English "castle" or French "chateau", Spanish "castillo" comes from 
Latin castellum, which is a diminutive of castrum.
