J'ai lu avec intérêt vôtre liste de mots catalan d'origine gotique.  
On peut trouver un nombre d'eux dans le dictionnaire gotique de 
Gerhard Koebler - par exemple, estona < go. *stunda - mais pas tous.  
Je crois qu'il n'y est aucune allusion à boc (< go. *bukka), ou à 
òliba, dont la forme gotique serait probablement *uggwilo < 
germanique *uwwilôn, ou peutêtre *uwwalôn.  En effet il existe dans 
les autre langues germanique deux types de ce mot, un type représenté 
par anglais OWL, et islandais UGGLA < *uwwalôn; et l'autre par 
allemand EULE < *uwwilôn.  Si ce mot catalan vient de gotique 
*uggwilo (quoique un peut changé), il ressemble plus au type allemand 
que nordique/anglais, du moins en ce qui concerne le suffixe.
Koebler a aussi *randa 'bord [de bouclier], mais sans allusion à 
catalan.

Si vous avez une liste plus longue, je m'intéresserais beaucoup de la 
voire!

I read with interest your list of Catalan words derived from Gothic.  
Some of these - e.g. estona < Go. *stunda - can be found in Gerhard 
Koebler's "Gotisches Woerterbuch", but not all.  I don't think 
there's any reference to boc (< Go. *bukka), or to òliba 'owl', the 
Gothic form of which would probably be *uggwilo < Gmc *uwwilôn, or 
possibly *uwwalôn.  Actually, there exist two types of this word in 
the other Germanic languages, the one represented by English OWL and 
Icelandic UGGLA < *uwwalôn, and the other by the German EULE < 
*uggwilo.  If this Catalan word comes from Gothic *uggwilo (albeit 
somewhat altered), it looks more like the German type than the 
Norse/English, at least as far as the suffix goes.

If you have a longer list, I'd be very interested to see it!
