should read "The Urds of the Senans(Sena people)".
Indeed, in Romanian as Romance language, the noun URZeala means warp(the strings used to prepare the tissue design) and the verb is "a URZi", yielding a sound root for both the URD godess and for their activity. Plural is French style. Other Romance languages supress the Romanian "R" or replace it with "L" (Rom. Sarut >> lat, fr Salut), a phenomenon called 'rotacism'; in our case Urz>>Uz/Us or Urd. These Norn characters exist in Romanian folklore as "ursitoare", i.e. the godesses which prepare("URZing") the future of the baby. There is also today a concept of 'guardian angel"(Hamingjes).

Thus the Pillar of the Sailors(le pilier de Nautes) in Cluny Museum (Le Mesee du Moyen Age: just in front of Sorbonne) has identical Gods as the Norse:

Cernunnos as Heimdal
Castor as Woden
Urz/Urs/Us as the Norns

Note that the 3 gods above these Urd godesses, "Eurises", also appear on the shrines in Cluj Museum and on the Trajan's column (the scene where the Dacians adorate Trajan at the end of the first Dacian war). Interestingly, on one ring in the museum, an armed hand is associated with the "sun+moon+ishtar" as the "palmirian gods" in Louvre. The arms of the Siculi country (terra siculorum) also contain sun, moon, armed hand but without "Ishtar"-the Venus.
