Thank yo. That I understood. I was looking for the reflex of the word, and found
it is the PIE -gel (to make round, swell).

Anyone ever figure out a plausible etymology for enguz, iggws?

Thank you

Brian

Good afternoon,

I was wondering if anyone here might be able to help me break apart a word in
Gothic from the Gospel of Luke 2:5

inkilþon = adjective; dative singular feminine of "inkilþō"

I am trying to understand the root words that make up inkilþō. Any
assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Brian
