Summer institute: CLASS Fulbright-Hays Summer Study Abroad Program for K-12 Chinese Teachers - DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS 10 MAY

Through a grant from the U.S. Department of Education's Fulbright-Hays
Group Project Abroad program, the Chinese
Language Association of Secondary-Elementary Schools (CLASS) will
implement a four-week summer study
abroad program in China from July 19 to August 17, 2002. This study
abroad program is designed for
practicing teachers who are currently teaching Chinese at K-12 schools
in the United States.

Fifteen scholarships are available to educators, which cover most costs
of the trip. Scholarship recipients will
be required to pay $400 to cover a portion of the program costs.
