We invite papers —in Spanish or English— on any topic related to the
Hispanic presence in the United States of America. In order to be
considered for presentation, please send a synopsis of your paper (3 or
4 lines) and a brief biographical note to :

The deadline for submission is April 1, 2002


Extension of papers: 15 pages. Presentations must not exceed 20
minutes.Papers must be submitted in triplicate (paper copy) and on Word
