Dear colleagues:

I am currently spending my sabbatical year in England, where I am
studying the acquisition of British English by American children and
adults living in this country. I have been noticing some very
interesting phenomena that parallel the findings of studies on
codeswitching and register change. Are any of you aware of published
studies on second-dialect acquisition? Your recommendations would be
most appreciated.

Many thanks for considering this request.
