The Fifth International Conference on Language Teacher Education (ICLTE) welcomes proposals for papers and symposia on all aspects of the education and professional development of language teachers. The conference will be held May 31-June 2, 2007 at the Radisson Hotel in Minneapolis, MN. Information about the conference can be found at:

The deadline for submission of proposals is *December 1, 2006*.

Papers and symposia submitted may report on data-based research, theoretical and conceptual analyses, or best practices in language teacher education. The conference will focus on the following four broad themes:
