<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>The Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs Indian
Reservation of Oregon is actively seeking a <U>Curriculum Developer</U> to
develop an effective Indian language program/materials for our three languages
of the community. He/She will work with local Native speakers of the
Warm Springs Sahaptin, Wasco, and Northern Paiute Languages to develop materials
for Grade levels Kindergarten through twelfth, and community classes,
based on Oregon Content Standards and Benchmarks for Native American
Languages. Must have a Bachelors degree in second language teaching,
bilingual education or a related field. Prefer three years experience in second
language teaching, including curriculum development and teacher training.
Persistence, efficiency, and cultural sensitivity are considered important
factors. Begin work date is scheduled for January
