semantics of<o:p></o:p></FONT></FONT></P>

face="Times New Roman">under-represented languages in the
<st1:country-region><st1:place>Americas</st1:place></st1:country-region>. The
goal of the<o:p></o:p></FONT></FONT></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><FONT size=3><FONT
face="Times New Roman">conference is to bring together researchers working on
languages or<o:p></o:p></FONT></FONT></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><FONT size=3><FONT
face="Times New Roman">dialects which do not have an established tradition of
work in formal<o:p></o:p></FONT></FONT></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><FONT size=3><FONT
face="Times New Roman">semantics. Examples include native languages of North or
South<o:p></o:p></FONT></FONT></P>

African American English, ASL, Yiddish, or

face="Times New Roman">Portuguese. We also invite submissions from those working
on child<o:p></o:p></FONT></FONT></P>

encourage abstract<o:p></o:p></FONT></FONT></P>
