<DIV><BR>Following the successful WorldCALL 1998 conference, held at the 

University<BR>of Melbourne, Australia, the WorldCALL Steering Committee is 

pleased to<BR>announce that WorldCALL 2003 will be hosted jointly by the: 

University of<BR>Calgary and the University of Alberta in Banff, Alberta, 

Canada. The<BR>conference will be held in The Banff Centre in the heart of the 

Canadian<BR>Rocky Mountains. </DIV>

<DIV><BR>Attending a WorldCALL conference will greatly benefit anyone interested 

in<BR>language teaching and learning, educational applications of multimedia 

and<BR>Internet technologies, teacher education and educational research 

-<BR>including classroom teachers, researchers, administrators and 

technical<BR>staff. The objective of WorldCALL is to promote and develop 

national and<BR>international networks for CALL research and practice. 

Scholarships will be<BR>available for participants from areas of the world that 

are underserved with<BR>regard to the use of new technologies and language
