The project will develop a corpus-based analysis of the syntax of Old English poetry, and a qualitative and quantitative comparison of the syntax of the poetry and the prose. The responsibilities of the Research Assistant will include the syntactic annotation of computerised Old English poetic texts and participation in the analysis of data.
