Dear Members of the Group,
My name is Thomas Kent, I am a sixteen year old student who is very
interested in Historical Linguistics.
I was wondering whether anyone would be able to recommend a good
introductory text on the topic for me.
Also, in aim of teaching myself a little about historical linguistics, I
would like to study the history of a particular language.  Which language
would be best for this?
