electronic bulletin in Russian General Linguistics</b></font></p>
<p ALIGN="CENTER"><font size="4" face="Verdana">"Human Language" – HumLang</font></p>

<p><font size="2" face="Verdana">As you will be able to see, it is not only redesigned, but
filled with new information.</font></p>
<p><font size="2" face="Verdana">From summer 1999 this bulletin (list) is a part of a Russian
network “Social Sciences and Humanities” established and technically and
financially supported by some Russian and American institutions. Indispensable
is a grant support of the project by the program IATP of the organisation
“Project Harmony”, Miamy University (Oxford, Ohio), a personal fund of Prof.
V. Hevigshurst and by philological faculty of Moscow Lomonosov State University
(Dean of the faculty – prof. Remneva M.L.).</font></p>
<p><font size="2" face="Verdana">The purpose of the edition is to create a kind of electronic
forum for discussing and mutual informing of linguists about actual problems in
Human Language nature studies, correspondences of it with other natural
languages (languages of animals), specific features of its typological,
stylistic and national variants, mechanisms of its historical changes, etc.</font></p>
<p><font size="2" face="Verdana">The specific feature of this bulletin is that it is the
first Russian General Linguistics electronic bulletin. We’ll do our best to
widen the flow of information about the state of the art in Russian linguistics,
to inform on new linguistic (and related) works, conferences, updated
bibliographies, sites, university courses, reference books, resources.</font></p>
<p><font size="2" face="Verdana">Among other directions of our activity on the bulletin you can
find there “Discussion Club”. The first raised topic there is <i>“Unresolved
Problems in Studies of Nature and Evolution of Human Language”</i>.
