The Faculty of Humanities of the University of Amsterdam offers a new MA
<br>
programme for talented students who are interested in conducting research
in <br>
one of the many areas of linguistics that are studied in its research
<br>
institutes. This Research MA in Linguistics offers the opportunity to
<br>
specialize in a wide range of linguistic subdisciplines and pays serious
<br>
attention to methodological issues. All courses are taught in English or,
in <br>
the case of language-specific courses, in the target language. The
programme <br>
takes two years for selected students with a relevant BA or equivalent,
and <br>
one year for selected students with a relevant MA or equivalent. Since
the <br>
University of Amsterdam is interested in attracting talented researchers,
<br>
