You don't need Arboreal.  Expressionist lets you draw the tree.  You
just point and click.

Granted, it's not as sophisticated or flexible as Latex.  But it's
*really* fast and easy.

(Two things I have not figured out how to do:  multiple inheritance
hierarchies; and the 'triangles' for showing constituents without the
internal structure.)
