Dear Colleagues/hpsg-l mailing list members,

If you had signed up for the new hpsg-l list in the usual way, you would have received a mail with some instructions on how to use it:

In essence, this mail would have said:

1. to mail the other people on the list, send to HPSG-L at LISTSERV.LINGUISTLIST.ORG

2. to leave the mailing list, send a message to LISTSERV at LISTSERV.LINGUISTLIST.ORG (notice *not* the hpsg-l address)
with the following in the body (not the subject): SIGNOFF HPSG-L

3. You can control quite a lot of the way the mailing list behaves by sending messages to LISTSERV at LISTSERV.LINGUISTLIST.ORG, e.g. sending a message with INFO REFCARD in the body will get you back a list of commands.

I think it is working now, a couple of messages sent in the last week or so have not made it to the archive, but otherwise things seem to be working.

Best wishes
Doug

Chair of Standing Committee for HPSG
