We are pleased to invite you to the seminar <b><i>Artificial Intelligence in English Language and Translation: Bridging Research and Practice</i></b>, which will explore the transformative role of artificial intelligence across language education and translation.
Bringing together scholars working at the intersection of pedagogy, research, and professional practice, the discussion will examine how AI is reshaping the ways languages are taught, learned, and mediated. As AI technologies increasingly function as cognitive
and institutional actors, the seminar will address key issues such as teacher agency, ethical use, evolving translation practices, and the challenges of applying AI in diverse and often unequal educational contexts. By connecting theoretical insights with
real-world applications, the seminar will foster a critical dialogue on how to engage with AI in ways that are informed, responsible, and context-sensitive.</div>
