We are pleased to share the Call for Papers for a special issue of <i>ContactZone</i>, titled "Who is Afraid of A.I.: Artificial Intelligence in Science Fiction Literature and Films".</div>

The special issue invites contributions examining representations of artificial intelligence in science fiction literature and cinema. Interdisciplinary approaches drawing on gender studies, posthumanism, media studies, cultural studies, and philosophy are
particularly welcome.</div>
