We are pleased to share the programme for "<b>Rappresentare il Femminiello: Prospettive Linguistiche, Culturali e Audiovisive / Representing the Femminiello: Linguistic, Cultural and Audiovisual Perspectives"</b>, organised by Francesco Nacchia at the University
 of Naples L'Orientale and supported by the I-LanD Research Centre.</div>

Bringing together scholars and practitioners from different disciplinary backgrounds, the initiative explores the cultural, social, linguistic and audiovisual representations of the Neapolitan
<i>femminiello</i>, including gender and intersectional perspectives.</div>

The programme runs from <b>23 October</b> to <b>14 December 2026</b>, with <b>seven online seminars on Microsoft Teams</b> and
<b>two documentary screenings with discussions in Naples</b>. Sessions will be held in Italian and English. Participation is free, and students from all degree programmes are welcome.</div>
