Knowledge Awards First Nations Language Documentaries

Knowledge is pleased to announce that Vancouver's Bliss Productions, working
with a team of First Nations directors, has been awarded the commission to
produce creative documentaries that speak to the importance and value of
British Columbia's First Nations languages.

The First Nations directing team includes: Anishinaabe director Lisa Jackson
(Reservation Soldiers); Heiltsuk/Mohawk director Zoe Leigh Hopkins (One-Eyed
Dogs Are Free); Swampy Cree director Kevin Lee Burton (Nikamowin/Song); and
Tsilhqot'in director Helen Haig-Brown (Su Naa).
