Australian of the Year finalists for NT named

An Indigenous language expert, a footballer and a youth worker have
made the Northern Territory finals of the Australian of the Year
Awards.

Linguist Professor Michael Christie made the finals for his research
work in remote communities and the development of Indigenous language
programs at Charles Darwin University.
