Bloomsbury to sell early American New Testament, Nov. 29

LONDON (AP) – A rare copy of the first English-language edition of the
New Testament to be published in the United States is being offered at
auction in London.
Bloomsbury Auctions says the small volume, published in 1777, is
estimated to fetch 100,000 pounds ($160,000) or more at the sale on
Nov. 29. The identity of the seller was not disclosed.
