Aanii,

Just to share, this unique program in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario Canada entitled Social Service Worker – Native Specialization at Sault College. You will examine a range of social issues and social service worker skills, with an added focus on the historical oppression and current realities of Canadian Aboriginal peoples. Along with the opportunity to learn the anishnaabemowin language in a conversational approach. With cultural knowledge interweaved into most of the courses within the program.

Read what the impact this program has on one of our students…………
"Before I entered the Social Service Worker-Native Specialization (SSW-NS) program, I had no interest in the Native culture or my community. This program has opened my eyes, and ... most importantly ... has made me a proud Aboriginal woman."
