Little River Band of Ottawa Indians offers language education tool

MANISTEE —Tribal languages are an important part of the culture and the
life of the Native American tribal nations. Many of these languages are in
danger of being lost while at the same time a number of the nations are
actively engaged in teaching their language to their people and others who
are interested. The Little River Band of Ottawa Indians based in Manistee
ihas invested heavily in preserving and protecting Anishinaabemowin, the
language of the Ottawa people.
