Journal of the West call for articles

Dear Language Activists and Others:

The Journal of the West, an illustrated quarterly devoted to the history and culture of the American West, is interested in publishing a theme issue on American Indian languages, and I am checking if there is anyone on this list interested in contributing to such an issue. I think it would be a good way to get out information to a very different audience from those of you on this e-mail list about past efforts to suppress Indian languages and current efforts to revitalize them. If you are interested in contributing to such a special issue, please let me know and I can send you a sample issue and author guidelines.
