<font face="courier new,monospace"><font face="georgia,serif">Yorke Peninsula schools revive lost language<br><br>LUCY HOOD From: The Advertiser June 02, 2010 12:01am<br>Australia<br><br>AN Aboriginal language on the verge of disappearing has been revived with the help of several Yorke Peninsula schools.<br>
<br>Teachers and senior secondary students from Kadina, Moonta, Maitland and Stansbury have been taking part in workshops run by the Narungga Aboriginal Progress Association.<br><br>The association, with the help of a community linguist, has been able to increase the number of known Narungga words from about 200 to more than 1000.<br>
