<font size="2"><font face="georgia,serif">Eyak language finds new speaker from unlikely upbringing<br><br>by Rhonda McBride<br>Sunday, July 25, 2010<br>USA<br><br>ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- A celebration was held at the Alaska Native Heritage Center this weekend to honor a young French man who is learning to speak Eyak, a language that is hovering near extinction. Eyak was once spoken by people who lived in the Cordova area.<br>
