<font size="2"><font face="georgia,serif">Early learning will include Hul'qumi'num<br>  <br>BY LEXI BAINAS, THE CITIZEN JULY 30, 2010<br>Canada<br> <br>Khowhemun Elementary School and Parkside Academy Childcare Society have been awarded a $23,460 grant to integrate Hul'qumi'num language and culture into early learning programs at the school on Cliffs Road in Duncan.<br>
<br>The announcement of the Vancouver Foundation grant came from the Cowichan Valley School District June 29.<br><br>The money will support students in preschool and full-day Kindergarten classrooms at the school.<br><br>
