Charged with the task of keeping endangered languages alive,<br>
Aboriginal language teachers from across the State spent most of their<br>
school holiday break at a training course in Perth.<br>
<br>
Education Department Aboriginal languages co-ordinator Lola Jones said<br>
it was important for children to be exposed to languages that belonged<br>
to the area in which they lived.<br>
<br>
"It's part of Australia's linguistic heritage," she said.<br>
