More Queensland school students will be able to study basic aboriginal language from 2015 after a rare collection of century-old notebooks of Queensland's Aboriginal language has been donated to the State Library of Queensland.</p>

A draft curriculum subject in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander languages is ready and is being topped up by Aboriginal words and phrases being discovered from these State Library notebooks.</p><p style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;font-size:12px;margin:0px;padding:0px;border:0px;vertical-align:baseline;color:rgb(0,0,0);line-height:17px">
