Dating the final IE unity, in particular the word for "horse"

animals.  This would be extremely odd, if the language had originated in the
Mediterranean area.

The vocabulary for these items is comprised of non-IE borrowings in the
relevant languages.  Eg., Greek uses loan-words for cypress, laurel,
chestnut, and olive, among others.
