Greek receptive vocabulary test

A student working with school children in Athens needs to measure their
receptive vocabulary.  At the moment, she is using the British Picture
Vocabulary Scale (equivalent to the Peabody, for US readers) and
translating the items into Greek.  However, there is concern that this may
not really represent vocabulary knowledge in Greek children.  Does anyone
have any alternative suggestions?
