gender agreement in adjectives derived from nouns!

Dear Info-Childes Readers,

As in several languages of the world, French adjectives agree in gender
and in number with the nouns they modify (e.g., les feuilles vertES).

However, French adjectives derived from nouns do not seem to take the
gender and number morphemes (e.g., les tables marron). Other adjectives
include 'orange' and 'rose'.

I am interested in learning about such examples from other languages.

Thank you in advance!

Best,
Shoba
