New audio-linked data set

Dear Info-CHILDES,

  I am happy to announce the addition to CHILDES of a fourth child in the
Yip-Matthews Hong Kong corpus of Cantonese-English bilingual children.  The
three children previously included were Timmy, Sophie, and Kathryn.  The new
child is Llywelyn.  Half of the files involve primarily English
conversations and half primarily Cantonese conversations.  One very
important feature of this new corpus is the fact that all of the utterances
are fully linked to good quality MP3 files that can also be downloaded from
the web.  The MP3 files and transcripts can be found in
http://childes.psy.cmu.edu/data/media/audlinked/

This new corpus is now the third large audio-linked corpora in the database
(MacWhinney and MiyataTai are the other two).

The full set of transcripts for the YipMatthews Hong Kong corpus without
audio can be found at
