Education.  The University of Tulsa invites applications for one
tenure-track assistant professor position to join the faculty of a small
but vibrant School of Education whose dual mission is to expand the
knowledge base in education and prepare teachers as public intellectuals
in schools.  We seek scholars with doctorates, research agendas and
experience, and teaching experience in K-12 schools.  Preferred
candidates will have demonstrated expertise in at least two of the
following areas: quantitative research design and data analysis, K-12
mathematics, cultural anthropology, sociology, developmental psychology,
and/or history of education.  Responsibilities include pursuing an
agenda of scholarship and research; teaching courses in teacher
education undergraduate and masters programs; and supervising students
in field placements.  Review of applications begins December 1, 2004 and
