University Lectureship in Applied Linguistics in association with
Linacre College

The Department of Education, University of Oxford seeks applications
for a full-time, permanent, University Lecturer in Applied
Linguistics. The University wishes to appoint a candidate whose main
research and teaching experience is in the area of Applied
Linguistics, with particular reference to second language learning and
teaching languages in higher education settings. Expertise in the area
of English for Academic Purposes would be particularly desirable. The
appointment is tenable from 1 January 2009.

The successful candidate will be appointed on the Oxford scale for
university lecturers without tutorial fellowships (£40,334-£54,207
p.a.).  A non-stipendiary Fellowship at Linacre College is attached to
the lecturership.
