Research Associate
Salary: £28,839 p.a.

Applications are invited for an 18-month postdoctoral position to
study online language comprehension in English-Italian and Spanish-
Italian bilingual school-age children.  The successful candidate will
be based at the University of Manchester (UK) and will conduct two
periods of fieldwork in Italy (Milan) and Spain (Madrid/Barcelona).

You should have a PhD in linguistics, psychology or related field,
experience of testing school-age children, and an interest in language
processing and bilingualism. It is also essential that you have native
or near-native knowledge of Italian and a good command of Spanish.

The start date for the position is 1st May 2009.
