French MOR

Dear Info-CHILDES,

     Christophe Parisse recently completed work on a new, analytic MOR  
with POST for French.  It is excellent.  With a few minor  
modifications, I managed to use it to tag the Champaud corpus  
completely.  We need to do some further work on verification of  
tagging accuracy and there are still some issues in French about how  
to treat verb conjugation homonymy, but the important news is that the  
system is now fully operational.  I plan to next tag the Geneva corpus  
and then work bit by bit through all our French corpora.  A big  
"merci" to Christophe for his work on this.
